Mrs. Marguerite THEBEAU, 80, formerly of Baie Ste-Anne, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 12, 2006, at her residence at the Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home. Mrs. Marguerite THEBEAU was born in Baie Ste-Anne, the daughter of the late Elphege THEBEAU and Grace MARTIN.
She is survived by her husband, Antoine SIPPLEY Sr.; five daughters: Valma SEELY, of Douglasfield, Christina LITTLE, of Stoney Creek, Ont., Eliane SIPPLEY [Roland], of Baie Ste-Anne, Delila SIPPLEY, of Sackville, NS, and Karen SIPPLEY, of Baie Ste-Anne; four sons: Arthur SIPPLEY [Leone], Elphege SIPPLEY [Loretta], Anthony SIPPLEY Jr. [Bertha], Jean Claude SIPPLEY [Candice], all of Baie Ste-Anne; three sisters: Beatrice McINTYRE, of Miramichi, Irene McLANAGHAN [John], of Ottawa, Ont., Vitaline [Lucien] HACHEY, of Nelson Miramichi; two brothers: Conrad THEBEAU [Patsy], of Baie Ste-Anne, Aubin THEBEAU, of Toronto, Ont.; 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by brothers: Leon, Alfred, and Romain; and sister, Lorrina GOGUEN.
Mrs. Marguerite THEBEAU rested at the Baie Ste-Anne Slumberoom, on Monday, May 15, from 2-4 and 7-9, and on Tuesday, May 16, from 2 p.m. until time of the funeral. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, May 16, at 4 p.m. from Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Baie Ste-Anne, with Fr. Robert Savoie Officiating.
Active pallbearers were: Daniel McINTYRE, Paul THEBEAU, Serge SIPPLEY, Jamie SIPPLEY, Michelle ARSENEAULT, and Troy SIPPLEY.
Her grandchildren formed a guard of honor. Interment was in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the care of Mahers Funeral Home, Miramichi, NB. Telephone 773-4321.
