Aden Charles SMITH, 64, of Hamilton, Ont., formerly of Perth-Andover and Nelson-Miramichi, N.B., passed away Jan. 13, 1995 at St. Josephs Hospital, Hamilton, Ont., after a lengthy illness. Born in Perth-Andover, New Brunswick, he was a son of the late Charles SMITH and Flora [DEWITT], SMITH. He moved to Hamilton as a young man where he was employed by Stelco Steel and from where he was retired some years ago due to ill health.
He is survived by his wife, Betty, of Hamilton, Ont.; his step-mother, Mona SMITH, Nelson-Miramichi; a son, Charles, of Calgary, Alta.; four daughters: Laura, of Penticton, B.C., Debbie and Linda, of Hamilton, Ont., and Kelly, of St. Catharines, Ont.; four sisters: Gilda SMITH, of Newcastle, Jessie McLEAN, of Saint John, Gale McLEOD, of Brighton, Ont., and Sandra WELLS, of Sussex, N.B.; a brother, Llewellyn SMITH, of Nelson-Miramichi; eight grandchildren and eight nieces and nephews.
