Nazaire SIPPLEY, 87, of Baie Ste-Anne, NB, passed away Thurs., March 5, 1998 at the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home. Born in Baie Ste-Anne, he was the son of the late George and Lucille [ROBICHAUD] SIPPLEY. He was a fisherman, and attended the Baie Ste-Anne Roman Catholic Church. He served with the Canadian Army.<br /> He is survived by his wife, Mina [MARTIN]; one daughter, Mrs. Wilmond McINTYRE [Antoinette]; two brothers: Oliver and William, both of Baie Ste-Anne; three sisters: Mrs. Vaughan KAY [Lucy], of Chatham; Mrs. Walter ADAMS [Ida], of Black River; and Isabel DIMON, of Cape Pele. <br /> The remains rested at the church slumber room, Baie Ste-Anne. Mass of Christian burial was held at the Baie Ste-Anne Roman Catholic Church, Monday at 4 p.m., with Rev. Robert Savoie officiating. Branch 3, Royal Canadian Legion, formed an honor guard. <br /> Active pallbearers were: Arthur SIPPLEY, Thomas DUPLESSIS, John MARTIN, Carl ADAMS, Gilles THEBEAU, and Alvin DURELLE. Honorary pallbearers were: Vaughan KAY, Laurent MARTIN, Omere ARSENEAULT, Ronald Kelly, Bertrand TURBIDE and William RUSSELL. <br /> --- incomplete --- <br /> Source: local newspaper clipping [courtesy the collection of Avadne Connolly]
