Mrs. Irene SIPPLEY, 85, of Baie Ste. Anne, N.B. passed away Thursday, Feb. 29, 1996 at the Stella Maris Hospital, Kent Co. Born in Baie Ste. Anne, she was the daughter of the late Remi and Donathilda [GAUDET] THEBEAU. She was a homemaker, and attended Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church.<br /> She is survived by two sons, Marcel, of Fredericton, and Edgar, of Baie Ste. Anne; two sisters, Mrs. Eva LEBOUTHILLIER, of Point Sapin, and Mrs. Stella LLOYD, of Villa Maria, St. Louis; four grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.<br /> She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph SIPPLEY. <br /> The remains rested at the church slumber room. Mass of Christian burial was held at the Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church March 4 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Robert Savoie officiating.<br /> Active pallbearers were: Daniel McINTYRE, Rene THEBEAU, Michael THEBEAU, Arthur SIPPLEY, Elphege SIPPLEY, and Kenneth DOUCET. Honorary pallbearers were: Alcime DURELLE, Lemmy DURELLE, Isidore MAZEROLLE, Nazerie MORRIS, Romeo MANUEL, and Gerard MANUEL.<br /> Interment was in the church cemetery. Arrangements were under the care of Mahers Funeral Home, Chatham.<br /> Source: Miramichi Leader - March 5, 1996
