Mr. Edwin J. SIPPLEY, 62, of Baie Ste-Anne, passed away on Thur., July 20, 2000 at Miramichi Regional Hospital. Born in Baie Ste-Anne, he was the son of Melina MARTIN and the late Reuben SIPPLEY. He was a fisherman, and attended the St. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Baie Ste-Anne, NB.<br /> He is survived by his wife, Jeannine ROUSSELLE; 2 daughters: Irma and Norma, both of Baie Ste-Anne; 4 sons: Marc [Mary], Guy [Tammy], of Baie Ste-Anne, Richard [Deborah], of Shediac Bridge, Michael, of Moncton; 3 sisters: Lorenza MARTIN [Leonce], Patricia KINGSTON [Gordon], of Miramichi, Leola MacDONALD [Kenneth], of Moncton; two brothers: Anthony and Alderic, of Baie Ste-Anne; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. <br /> The remains rested at Baie Ste-Anne Slumber room on Friday. Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Baie Ste-Anne on Sat., July 22, at 11:45 am., with Fr. Drisdelle officiating.<br /> Active pallbearers were sons: Marc, Richard, Guy and Michael SIPPLEY, Gary McINTYRE and Stephen SIPPLEY. Honorary pallbearers were: Jack SIPPLEY, Elph?ge SIPPLEY, Ed LANTEIGNE, Maynard CHIASSON, Alphonse DOUCET, Hector MERCURE, Lomond MARTIN, Elph?ge & Rosaire THERIAULT, Jimmy KINGSTON, Ralph MacDONALD, Alonzo, Eric and Yvon McGRAW, and Lucien MANUEL.<br /> Interment was in the Baie Ste-Anne Cemetery.
