Judith RUSSELL, 90, of Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 30, 1997 at her residence. Born in Baie Ste-Anne, NB, she was the daughter of the late George and Lucille [ROBICHAUD] SIPPLEY. She was a homemaker, and attended St. Annes Roman Catholic Church in Baie Ste-Anne.
She is survived by six daughters: Mrs. Alvin DURELLE [Lenore], of Escuminac, NB, Mrs. Michael DOIRON [Edna], of Point Sapin, Mrs. Edward SCHULTZ [Georgina], of Hardwicke, Mrs. Howard ROBICHAUD [Edith], of Chatham, Mrs. Losia JIMMO and Mrs. Sandra MAZEROLLA, both of Beaverbrook; five sons: Leonard and John, both of Black River, and William, Robert and Raymond, all of Escuminac; four sisters: Isabel DUPLESSIE, Robichaud Office, N.B., Mrs. Vaughn KAYE [Lucy], of Black River, Mrs. Philip MEUSE [Virgine], of Baie Ste-Anne, Mrs. Walter ADAMS [Ida], of Black River; three brothers, Oliver and William, both of Baie Ste-Anne, and Nazaire, of Hardwicke; 39 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband, John.
The remains rested at the church slumber room. Mass of Christian burial was held at the Baie Ste-Anne Roman Catholic Church, with Father Robert Savoie officiating.
Active pallbearers were: Alvin, Rheal, and Armond DURELLE, Claude, John, and George DOIRON.
Interment was in Stella-Maris Cemetery, Escuminac. Arrangements were under the care of Mahers Funeral Home, Chatham. [773-4321]
