David A. ALLISON, 66, of 217 Gremley Lane, Newc., died Saturday, July 4, 1992, at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, after a brief illness. Born in Newcastle, he was a son of the late Alexander and Mary [MALLEY] ALLISON. He was retired as superintendent of the Town of Newcastles Public Works Department. He was a member of St. James and St. John United church and a veteran of WW II.
He is survived by his wife, the former Mildred SAVAGE; four daughters: Mrs. Randy KRYSKOW [Sharon], of Weslock, AB, Mrs. Lawrence MULLIN [Diane], of Red Bank, Mrs. Yvon TURCOTTE [Phyllis], of Sussex, and Elizabeth, of Newcastle; two sons: David Jr., of Newcastle, and Gary, at home; three sisters: Mrs. Harold DORAN [Lillian] and Mrs. Henry CURTIS [Leona], both of Newcastle, and Mrs. Josie PRICE, of NS; two brothers: Douglas, of Newcastle, and Mickey, of Toronto; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by a brother, Roy; and a sister, Pearl.
The body rested at Bells Funeral Home, Newcastle. The funeral service was held Tuesday, July 7, at 2 pm at St. James and St. John United Church. Interment was in Miramichi Cemetery.

FUNERAL -
Funeral service for David Alexander ALLISON Sr., who died Saturday, July 4, 1992 at Dr. George Dumont Hospital, Moncton, was held Tuesday, July 7, 1992 at St. James United Church with Rev. Norman MacDougall officiating. Organist, Connie Kulkulski. Hymns sung were: Amazing Grace and 23 Psalm.
Active pallbearers were: Glen BLACKMORE, Kevin DORAN, Reggie TREVORS, Dean SHERRARD, Robert CURTIS and Douglas SAVAGE. Honorary pallbearers [4 grandsons]: Mark TURCOTTE, Danny TURCOTTE, Beverly MULLIN and Sandy ALLISON.
Funeral arrangements were under the care of Bells Funeral Home, Newcastle.
