Mrs. Adavilla RUSSELL, 93, died Wednesday, March 13, 1985 at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Chatham. Born in Red Bank, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Sara Jane [WHITE] JOHNSTONE. She attended St. Marks United Church, Douglastown. She was the widow of Ellis G. RUSSELL, Sr.<br /> Survived by 7 daughters: Mrs. Paul WEIMERSLAGE [Mavia], of Wisc., USA, Mrs. Treva JARDINE, of Nordin, Mrs. Jessie SMITH, Sackville, Mrs. Sydney HANSCOMB [Vera], of Moncton, Mrs. George STEWART [Bernice], Mrs. Arthur OREILLY [Evelyn], all of Chatham, Mrs. Alma VAUTOUR, of Newcastle; three sons: Ellis Jr., of Nordin, Stafford and Hugh, both of Newcastle; one brother, Charles JOHNSTONE, of Sackville; 47 grandchildren; 56 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.<br /> Rested at Bells Funeral Home where the funeral service was held Saturday.
