Jerome ROBICHAUD, 60, of Baie Ste-Anne, passed away Sunday, May 1, 1994, at the Hotel Dieu Hospital. Born in Baie Ste-Anne, he was the son of the late Dosithy ROBICHAUD and Margaret [MAZEROLLE] ROBICHAUD. He was a fisherman, and attended St. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Baie Ste-Anne.
He is survived by his mother; his wife, Madeline BRIDEAU; two sons: Elias, of Point Sapin, and Jerome Jr., of Baie Ste-Anne; three daughters: Theresa ROBICHAUD, Marina ROBICHAUD, Mrs. Gerald McLAUGHLIN [Clementine], of Escuminac; four brothers: Reginald and Flecian, of Moncton, John Louis and Gerald, of Baie Ste-Anne; four sisters: Marie MARTIN and Florida MARTIN, of Baie Ste-Anne, Malinda CARROLL, of Moncton, and Odell DUTHIE, of MacKinleyville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by one son, John-Marie.
The remains rested at the slumber room of the church in Baie Ste-Anne. Mass of Christian burial was held at Baie Ste-Anne Roman Catholic Church May 2, at 6 p.m. with Rev. Yvon Arseneault officiating, assisted by Rev. Fidel LeBlanc.
Honorary pallbearers were: Aureline ROBICHAUD, Emile MARTIN, Roger JOHNSON, Albertine POIRIER, Fernand BRIDEAU, Billy Guy HITCHMAN. Active pallbearers were: Gary, Jacques, Reginald Jr. ROBICHAUD, Wilfred POIRIER, Gerard McLAUGHLIN, and Charles MERCURE.
Interment was in Baie Ste-Anne Roman Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements were under the care of Mahers Funeral Home, Chatham.
