Gerard J. ROBICHAUD, 80, of RR 2, Baie Ste-Anne, passed away Saturday, May 6, 1995, at the Hotel Dieu Hospital, Chatham. Born in Point Sapin, he was the son of the late Martin and Priscilla [BABIN] ROBICHAUD. He attended the Roman Catholic Church. <br /> He is survived by his wife, Cleomise MARTIN; one son, Gerald, of Baie Ste-Anne; two daughters: Mrs. Freeman SANFORD [Geraldine], of Fredericton, Mrs. Robert BORAN [Linda], of New Glasgow, NS; three sisters: Mrs. Fred LEGERE [Dina], of Saint John, Mrs. Roy TAYLOR [Delima], of Montreal, PQ, and Mrs. Raymond WEDGE [Losia], of Baie Ste-Anne; 14 grandchildren; 15 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.<br /> The remains rested at the slumber room in Baie Ste-Anne. Mass of Christian burial was held Tuesday at 4 p.m. with Rev. Robert Savoie officiating. Baie Ste-Anne Legion formed an honor guard. <br /> Active pallbearers were: Edgar MANUEL, Fred MANUEL, Gerald, Brian, and Eric ROBICHAUD, and Maximen MARTIN.<br /> Interment was in the church cemetery. Arrangements were under the care of Mahers Funeral Home.<br /> Source: Miramichi Leader - May 16, 1995
