The death of Blair Weston ALLISON, of Boom Road, occurred Sat., September 18, 2004, at his residence, at the age of 80. Born in Boom Road, NB, he was the son of the late Thomas and Jessie [JARDINE] ALLISON. Blair was an overseas veteran of WW II who served with the North Shore Regiment.<br /> <br /> Blair is survived by three brothers: Morris [Rhoda], of Whitney, NB, Claude [Patsy], of Boom Road, NB, Glen, of ON; one sister, Pearl SUTHERLAND [Jack], of Boom Road, NB; and several nieces and nephews.<br /> <br /> Besides his parents, he is predeceased by one sister, Glenna MAGGS; and nephew, Brian HUBBARD.<br /> <br /> Visitation at Meadows Funeral Home, on Sunday, September 19. Funeral from Meadows Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, at 2 pm, Pastor Fred Williams officiating. Organist; Mary Matheson. Congregational hymns were: Amazing Grace and In the Garden.<br /> <br /> Pallbearers were four nephews: Stephen, Cameron, David, and Stacey ALLISON, Dale MANDERVILLE and Terry NOWLAN.<br /> <br /> Burial followed in Whitney Baptist Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the care of Meadows Funeral Home, 150 Northwest Road, Sunny Corner, NB. Telephone [506] 836-2321.<br /> <br /> Source: Miramichi Leader - September 28, 2004
