Anne Elizabeth ALLISON, wife of Arnold [Mickey] ALLISON, 215 Edward St., Miramichi passed away at Miramichi Regional Hospital Tuesday, July 28, 1998 at age 55. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of Margaret [OUGLER] and the late William PLEDGE. She was an administrative assistant and member of St. Marks UCW. <br /> She is survived by a daughter, Amy [Mrs. Buralye {Burnley}WHITNEY], of Bartibog; and a son: Aaron [Georgina], of Newcastle; two sisters: Edna [Jim ALLEN] of Scarborough, ON, and Marlene [John LAYING], of Frankville, ON; 3 brothers: Bill [Maria], of Brockville, ON; Donald [Phyllis], of Burkes Falls, ON; and Fred [Madge], of Bramalea, ON; four grandchildren: Alida, Shyanne, Amanda and Zachary; and several nieces and nephews. <br /> Visitation was held at Bells Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, on Wed. and Thurs. Funeral service held from the H. Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel Friday at 2 pm with Revs. Bill LeGrand and Beverley Brazier officiating. Organist was William Sweezey and hymns were: Amazing Grace, In the Garden and The Old Rugged Cross. Eulogy and Homily were spoken by son, Aaron, daughter, Amy and brother, Fred. <br /> Interment at Miramichi Cemetery on Sunday. <br /> Source: local newspaper clipping [courtesy the collection of Avadne Connolly]
