Mrs. Yvonne THERIAULT POIRIER, of 534 Eel River Road, Baie Ste-Anne, NB, passed away in Sept-Iles, Quebec, on Saturday, July 8, 2006. Born in Baie Ste-Anne, NB, she was the daughter of the late Dominique THERIAULT and Hilda CYR. Yvonne worked as a janitor at the school for 28 years.<br /> She is survived by her husband, Aubin POIRIER; daughter, Nicole GODIN [Hyacinthe], of Tracadie Sheila, Francine MARTIN [Ga?tan], of Baie Ste-Anne; son, Ronald POIRIER, of Baie Ste-Anne; sister, Noella POIRIER [Rheal], of Baie Ste-Anne; brothers: Lomer THERIAULT [Laurette], Jean Paul THERIAULT [Melinda], and Placide THERIAULT [Marguerite], of Baie Ste-Anne; three grandchildren: Diane, Arnel, and Andre; and three great-grandchildren: Jean-Denis, Kevin, and Marc-Andre.<br /> She is predeceased by sons: Richard and Adrien; brothers: Uriel, Alderic, Hubert, Ernest and Ovide; and sister, Eveline.<br /> Rested at the Baie Ste-Anne Slumberoom on Wednesday, July 12 and on Thursday, July 13, from 2 pm until the time of the funeral. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, July 13, at 4 pm from Ste-Anne Roman Catholic Church in Baie Ste-Anne, with Fr. Robert Savoie officiating.<br /> Active pallbearers were: Gaetan MARTIN, Hyacinthe GODIN, Arnel MARTIN, Hector THERIAULT, Charles McINTYRE and Donald POIRIER. Honorary pallbearers were: Regina GALLANT, Romeo LOUBERT, Maurice POIRIER, Marielle BOUDREAU, Marie-Anna CHIASSON, Aurel CHIASSON, George MANUEL and Marcia MANUEL.<br /> Interment was in the church cemetery.
