George John [Jackie] Emerson ALLEN, of Newcastle, died in Newcastle Tuesday, Aug. 21, 1984. Born in Newcastle 18 years ago, he was a son of William and Rosemary (TAYLOR) ALLEN. He was a 1984 graduate of Miramichi Valley High School. He attended St. James and St. John United Church and was a member of the local karate club.<br /> <br /> Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Joan WATLING, of Newcastle, and Gail, at home; five brothers: David, of Newcastle, Michael, Darrell, Tommy and Ricky, at home; paternal grandmother, Anna ALLEN, of Newcastle, and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ethel TAYLOR, of Brithen, ON; two nieces, three nephews and one aunt.<br /> <br /> The body rested at the slumber room of Bells Funeral Service, Newcastle. Funeral service was held at St. James and St. John United Church, Friday afternoon, Aug. 24 conducted by Rev. R. Feltmate and Rev. D. Hoddinott. Organist was Mrs. Connie Kukulski and soloist was Borden Davidson, who sang: The Lords My Shepherd and Amazing Grace.<br /> <br /> Pallbearers were: Eric HILL, Mark ROBICHAUD, Ian PORTER, James MATTATAL, Joe GALLANT and Roy ROBICHAUD.<br /> <br /> Interment was in the Miramichi Cemetery. Arrangements were in the care of Bells Funeral service, Newcastle. <br /> <br /> Source: Northumberland News - August 29, 1984
