Zona Ione MUNN, of Bloomfield Ridge, passed away peacefully at home, after a lengthy illness, on Thursday, May 29, 2003 with her husband and caregiver, Harvey L. MUNN Sr. by her side. Born in Fairley, NB, she was a daughter of the late Ethelbert and Winnifred [HOWELL] NORRAD. Mrs. MUNN was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and the Royal Canadian Legion, Normandy Branch #78, School Board Member and Founding Member of the Bloomfield Ridge Womens Institute. She was an avid community volunteer throughout her life. In her later years, she enjoyed playing bingo. <br /> Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Cynthia MITCHELL [Roger], of Doaktown, Rosalie LYONS [Bernie], of Bloomfield Ridge, and Kathleen MacRAE [Kevin], of Grand Bay, Westfield; six sons: Harvey [Jr] and Nicholas [special friend Carol], both of Bloomfield Ridge, Anthony [Tony] [Diane], of Astle, Douglas Andrew [Andy] [Colleen], of Ontario, Michael [Debbie], Ivan and their adopted son Chanso, all of Bloomfield Ridge; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Florence [Flossie] MUNN and Isabelle BLACK; four brothers: Cecil, Beniah, Peter and Alton NORRAD; and many nieces and nephews. <br /> In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by seven brothers: Alwyne, John [Jack], Ernest [Buster], Robin, Starr, Vance and Lancey; daughter-in-law, Glenna MUNN; and granddaughter, Carolyn McKAY.<br /> Visitation will take place at the Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at the FH Chapel on Saturday, May 31, 2003 at 3 pm with Rev. Roger Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the Parkers Ridge Cemetery.
