Miss Anne (Annie) K. ADAMS, of the Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home, and formerly of Black River Bridge, passed away at her residence, on Saturday, July 6, 1996 at the age of 60. Born in Black River Bridge, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (LABELLE) ADAMS Sr.<br /> <br /> She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude ERSKINE, of Upper Musquodobit, N.S., Mrs. Eunice BELDING and Mrs. Alice WILLISTON, of Black River Bridge; two brothers, Walter, of Black River Bridge, and Curtis, of Chatham Head; as well as several nieces and nephews. <br /> <br /> She was predeceased by two sisters, Laura ADAMS and Rena HAMILTON; and two brothers, Gordon and Burns.<br /> <br /> The remains rested at Adam's Funeral Home (Chatham) Ltd., from where the funeral service was held on Monday, July 8, at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. Ross Wiseman. The organist was William Sweezey, and the hymns were: Face to Face and God Will Take Of You.<br /> <br /> The pallbearers were: Peter CORMIER, Bernie WILLISON, Darcy STEWART, Arthur ADAMS, Carl ADAMS and Leo GORMAN.<br /> <br /> Interment was in the Black River Community Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Adam's Funeral Home (Chatham) Ltd.<br /> <br /> Source: Miramichi Leader - July 9, 1996
