Mrs. Melina McINTRYE, 74, of R.R. 1, Baie Ste. Anne, passed away Monday, April 24, 1995 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital, Chatham. Born in Escuminac, N.B., she was the daughter of Annie [DAIGLE] MARTIN and the late Michael MARTIN. She was a homemaker, and attended St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, Baie Ste. Anne.<br /> She is survived by her husband, Lawrence McINTYRE; her mother; five sons: Omer, Florent, and Denis, of Montreal, P.Q., Arnold, of Waverly, N.S., and Michael, of Baie Ste. Anne; eight daughters: Mrs. Raymond SKIDD [Louella], of Chatham, Mrs. Douglas MATHESON and Angela McINTYRE, of Newcastle, Mrs. Jean-Claude St. CROIX [May Rita], Miss Stella McINTYRE, of Montreal, Mrs. Daniel VIGNEAULT [Kathleen], Mrs. Stephen TANUFAS [Katrina] and Mrs. Gerald DAIGLE [Charlene], of Baie Ste. Anne; five brothers: Gerard and Arsenel, of Escuminac, Arthur, of Alberta, Antoine, of Moncton, and Raymond, of Quispamsis; four sisters: Mrs. Aubin THERIAULT [Delima], of Moncton, N.B., Miss Alvina MARTIN, of Florida, U.S.A., Mrs. Emilda DUMOUCHEL, of Quebec, and Mrs. Leo LACOMBE [Lauraine], of Quebec; 31 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.<br /> The remains rested at the slumber room in Baie Ste. Anne. Mass of Christian burial was held at the Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church April 27 at 4 p.m. with Rev. Robert Savoie officiating.<br /> Active pallbearers were: Bruce MATHESON, Kevin McINTYRE, Stephen MCINTYRE, Eric McINTYRE, Jerry McINTYRE, and Darcy SKIDD. Honorary pallbearers were: Bobby MARTIN, Reg. SKIDD, Roger McINTYRE, Daren MARTIN, Michael SKIDD and Cyril THERIAULT.<br /> Interment was in the church cemetery.<br /> Source: Miramichi Leader - May 2, 1995
