Lawrence McINTYRE, 86, passed away at Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Monday, April 15, 2002. Born in 1916, in Eel River Bridge, he was the son of Barbara DUPLESSIS and John McINTYRE, and step-son of Cyrice CHIASSON.<br /> He is survived by daughters: Louella [Bim], Angella [John Claude], of Miramichi; Norma [Doug], of Alberta; Kathleen [Daniel], Kathria [Steve], Charlene [Gerald], all of Eel River Bridge; Mayrita and Stella, of Quebec; sons: Omer [Noella], Florent [Madeline], Denis [Johanne], all of Montreal; Arnold [Beverley], of NS; Michael [Jeanne], of Eel River Bridge; 31 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, brothers: Donald [Helen], Emile, Gerard [Veronica]; sisters: Stella [Ted], Aldia and Aldea [Ron].<br /> He was predeceased by his loving wife, Melina, and daughters: infant, Aldine and Aldine; brother, Tim; and sister, Theresa.<br /> The remains rested at the Baie Ste-Anne Slumberoom on Tuesday, April 16, from 7-9, and Wednesday, April 17, from 2-4 and 7-9. Mass of Christian Burial was held at the Ste-Anne Roman Catholic Church, Baie Ste-Anne, NB, on Thursday, April 18, at 4 p.m. with Fr. Drisdelle officiating.<br /> Active pallbearers were: Michael SKIDD, Jerry McINTYRE, Christopher JANUSAS, Jamie JANUSAS, Eric McINTYRE, and Lucien MANUEL. Honorary pallbearers were: Raymond SKIDD Jr. [Bim], Doug MATHESON, Steve JANUSAS, Daniel VIGNEAULT, Gerald DAIGLE, and Jean Claude BEAULIEU.<br /> Interment was in the church cemetery.<br /> Source: Miramichi Leader - April 23, 2002
