Mr. Elmer McINTYRE, 92 of 5213 Route 117 Baie Ste-Anne, NB, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital. Born in Baie Ste-Anne, on September 15, 1914, he was a son of the late Jack and Suzanne [DURELLE] McINTYRE. Eric worked as a fisherman. <br /> He is survived by daughters; Marceline [McINTYRE] RICHARD, Roseline MANUEL <br /> [Rejean], Alina MANUEL [Roger], all of Baie Ste-Anne, Alma LeBEL [Fred], of Miramichi; sons: Aldon McINTYRE [Alma], of Miramichi, Donald McINTYRE [Odette], Charles RICHARD [Paulette], both of Baie Ste-Anne; sister, Christine MARTIN [Ludger], of Baie Ste-Anne; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. <br /> Elmer is predeceased by his wife, Lina McINTYRE; sisters: Berta, Mina, Clara, Venerante; and brothers: John, Bernard, Placide, Albenie and Albert. <br /> Visitation at the Baie Ste-Anne slumber room on Tuesday, from 7-9 and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, October 27, at 4 p.m. from Ste Anne Roman Catholic Church in Baie Ste-Anne, with Fr. Robert Savoie, celebrant. <br /> Active pallbearers were: Rejean MANUEL, Roger MANUEL, Justin POIRIER, Ricky McINTYRE, Jean Guy DAIGLE, Anathas McINTYRE. Honorary pallbearers were: Bill McINTYRE, Eucline MUISE, Sandy MARTIN, Marc WILLISTON, Rene RICHARD, Frank DOUCETTE, Augustine MARTIN, Adrien MARTIN, Stephane MARTIN, Eric McINTYRE, Jean Paul McINTYRE, Denis GELBERT, Donald DAIGLE, Jean Luc DAIGLE, Hudson RAMSAY, Fred LeBel, Kenneth McINTYRE, Joseph DAIGLE, Bernard McINTYRE and Alfred McINTYRE. <br /> Interment was in the church cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the cemetery fund would be appreciated. Arrangements were under the care of Mahers Funeral Home, Miramichi, NB.
