Mr. Donald John McINTYRE, of Baie Ste. Anne, NB, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on April 04, 2008, at the age of 94. Born in 1914 in Bay Ste. Anne, he was the son of the late John and Barbara [DUPLESSIE] McINTYRE. <br /> He is survived by his wife, Marie Helen [DURELLE] McINTYRE; daughters: Irma McINTYRE, of Edmonton, AB, Merlinda KIRPATRICK, of Medicine Hat, AB, Geneva McINTYRE, of Montreal, Mary McINTYRE [Aldore], of Baie Ste. Anne; sons: Arnold [Geraldine], of Miramichi, and Roger [Christianne], of Baie Ste. Anne; sisters: Aleda HANSON, of Fredericton, Aldeia HACHEY, of Miramichi, Stella FORREST, of Miramichi; brothers: Emile CHIASSON, of Baie Ste Anne; Gerard CHIASSON [Veronica], of Hardwick; 16 grandchildren: Audrey, Dawn, Blaine, Jason, Chris, Ian, Angela, John, Monica, Debbie, Shawn, Jessie, Lisette, Stefan, Daniel and Cynthia; 16 great-grandchildren: Mathew, Jonah, Sarah, Austin, Ethan, Dawson, Alex, Zachary, Celine, Abbigale, Avery, Zachary, Jacob, Melissa, Brianna and Justin; and several nieces and nephews. <br /> Donald J. McINTYRE rested at the Baie Ste. Anne Slumberroom in Baie Ste Anne on Monday, April 07, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on April 08, at 4 p.m from Ste Anne Church in Baie Ste Anne. A donation may be made to the Miramichi Regional Pallative Care Unit. Robert Savoie officiating. <br /> Active pallbearers were: John McINTYRE, Jason MacDONALD, Shawn McINTYRE, Stephane POIRIER, Daniel POIRIER and Jessie TUCKER. Honorary pallbearers were: Lucien MANUEL, Eloie DURELLE, Ade MARTIN, Ian WILLISTON, Aquila MANUEL, Gerard CHIASSON and Gerald POIRIER. <br /> The Golden Age Club formed a guard of honor. Interment will be in the church cemetery in the spring.
