The death of Anthony Robert Ambrose McINTYRE occurred after a lengthy illness at Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg on May 13, 1984. Born in Eel River Bridge 72 years ago, he was a son of the late Robert and Flora [MARTIN] McINTYRE. He had spent 50 years of his life in Winnipeg.<br /> He was predeceased by his wife, Edna, in 1961.<br /> He is survived by two sons: Eldon and Edward; and a daughter; Linda; 6 grandchildren; five sisters: Mrs. Florence BESSETTE, of Moncton, Mrs. Delila LLOYD, of Escuminac, Mrs. Catherine JIMMO, of Chatham, Mrs. Gerald ROBIN [Theresa] and Mrs. Cecilia RICHARD, both of Montreal; and ten brothers: Eldon, Joseph and Olaf, all of ON, Arthur, Andrew, Albert, James, Gregory and William, all of Eel River, and Robert, of Montreal.<br /> Interment was in St. Boniface, Manitoba.<br /> Source: local newspaper clipping [courtesy the collection of Avadne Connolly]
