ALLAIN KILLED IN SNOWMOBILE CRASH<br /> <br /> Vernon ALLAIN, 34, of R.R. #1, Bas Neguac, died early Saturday morning in a snowmobile accident. ALLAIN was a passenger on a snowmobile being driven by a friend around 12:34 am when the accident happened. They were driving along a path in the Bellefond area, when the driver swerved to the right to avoid a tree. The sudden motion of the snowmobile apparently threw the passenger off balance, to the left and he a struck a chair, resulting in his death, an RCMP spokesman said. The driver of the snowmobile was not injured.<br /> <br /> Source: Miramichi Leader - March 20, 1991
