Mrs. Sophie ALLAIN, of Neguac, passed away at the George Dumont Hospital, Moncton, on Nov. 9 after a long illness. She was 81.<br /> <br /> Widow of the late Agapit ALLAIN, who predeceased her three years ago, she is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Fred ARSENEAULT, of Lewisville, and Mrs. Herman MURPHY, of Chatham; two sons: Aquila, of Toronto, and Euclide, of Douglastown; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.<br /> <br /> The funeral was held in St. Bernards Church in Neguac.<br /> <br /> Pallbearers were four of her grandsons: Charles and Marcelle ARSENEAULT, Francis MURPHY, Tony ALLAIN; her grandson, Keith TREVORS; and nephew, Euclide GODIN.<br /> <br /> Source: North Shore Leader - November 17, 1976
