Mrs. Elozia MAZEROLLE, of 259 Eel River Rd., Baie Ste-Anne, NB, passed away on Friday, Dec. 6, 2002, at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 77. Born in Baie Ste-Anne, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Genevieve [DUPLESSIS] MANUEL. She was a homemaker, and a member of Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Baie Ste-Anne, NB.<br /> She is survived by two daughters: Leoda MAZEROLLE [Edward DUPLESSIS] and Lorraine MAZEROLLE [Robert DUPLESSIE], both of Baie Ste-Anne; five sons: Valmond, of Miramichi, Isidore [Julie], Vincent [Suzanne ROBICHAUD], Denis, Ovil [Marcia], all of Baie Ste-Anne; sisters: Delvina THERIAULT, Ameda DUPLESSIS, of Baie Ste-Anne; brothers: Albenie MANUEL, of Baie Ste-Anne; Clement MANUEL, of Scarborough, Ont.; grandchildren: Crystal, Chantal, Kevin, Jonathan, Paula, Jeremie, Christian, Mandy, and Kirk MAZEROLLE; great-grandchildren: Zachary Richard, Kayla Ross, Alexandre MAZEROLLE, Chloe MAZEROLLE, Melanie Elozia MAZEROLE, Ashley Briana TAYLOR; and many nieces and nephews.<br /> She is predeceased by daughter, Denise MAZEROLLE; brothers: Fred, Celestin, Maximen, Arthur MANUEL, and Obeline MARTIN; and husband, Edward.<br /> The remains rested at Baie Ste-Anne Slumberoom, on Sunday, Dec. 8, from 2-4 and 7-9. Mass of Christian Burial was held at Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Baie Ste-Anne, NB, at 2 pm with Fr. R. LeBlanc officiating. The Club Dage dOr [Golden Age Club] formed an honor guard.<br /> Active pallbearers were sons: Isidore, Ovil, and Vincent MAZEROLLE; and grandsons: Kevin, Jonathan, and Jeremie MAZEROLLE. Honorary pallbearers were: Roseline MARTIN, Geraldine MARTIN, Rose-May DOUCET, Rolande DOUCET, Maynard CHIASSON, Dominaque THERIAULT, Albert MANUEL, and David MANUEL. <br /> Interment was in Ste. Anne Cemetery, Baie Ste-Anne, NB. Arrangements were entrusted to Maher¹s Funeral Home, Miramichi.<br /> Source: Miramichi Leader - December 13, 2002
