WOMAN, 23, KILLED WHILE HOME FOR A VISIT - <br /> A former Baie Ste-Anne woman Yolande MARTIN, was killed early Friday morning after being struck by a half-ton truck. The 23-year-old daughter of Conrad and Dorina [CORMIER] MARTIN, of Baie Ste-Anne, was home on vacation from Montreal. She died at 2:05 a.m. Friday while crossing Highway 117 near the Eel River Road. Miss MARTIN had just gotten out of a car with several other persons.<br /> Thomas Gallivan, the Northumberland County Coroner ruled an autopsy and inquest unnecessary. He said Miss MARTIN died of a skull fracture and multiple injuries.<br /> She is survived by her parents, three brothers: Roger, of Chatham, Marcel, of Montreal, and Etienne, of Baie Ste-Anne; nine sisters, Mrs. Dissimele CHARLASMASIN [Dianne], Mrs. Fred MARTIN [Simone], and Mrs. Arthur GALLANT [Celine], Evangeline MARTIN, all of Moncton, Mrs. Hamid MISHALA [Aurelie] of Halifax, NS, Therese MARTIN, of Montreal, PQ, and Bernadette, Jeannine, and Rosa, all at home.<br /> The funeral mass was celebrated Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at the Baie Ste-Anne Roman Catholic Church.
