Passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Saturday, March 15, 2003, at the age of 69, Vincent MARTIN, spouse of Vanoria MARTIN, from Hardwick. Born July 17th, 1933, he was the son of the late Emery MARTIN and the late Françoise ROUSSELLE.
He was survived by his wife, as well as 8 daughters: Cecile MERCURE, of St.-Louis, Noella [Ludger DAIGLE], Aurore [John MARTIN], Virgine [Gabriel POIRIER], Lorina [Stephane MARTIN], Helene [Denis THEBEAU] and Eveline, all of Baie Ste-Anne, and Sonia [Marc MAZEROLLE], of Hampton; two sons: Marcel ROBICHAUD [Rosilda], of Pte-Sapin, and Vincent MARTIN [Alice], of Baie Ste-Anne; four step-children: Charles HIBSMAN [Lori], Michael Lee HIBSMAN, Edmond HIBSMAN and Geneva GRIFFITH [Larry], all of Fredericton; two sisters: Vitaline [Everett QUANN], of Chatham, and Althea [Gerard DAIGLE], of Lower Sackville, NS; two brothers: Emile [Therese ROBICHAUD] and Henri, both of Baie Ste-Anne; 20 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by three sisters: Germaine, Amanda and Olesine.
Family received visitors at the Baie Ste-Anne Slumber Room. The Funeral Service was held at the Sainte-Anne RC Church, in Baie Ste-Anne, Tuesday, March 18 at 11 a.m. Visiting hours were Sunday, March 16 from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, March 17 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, March 18 from 9 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. The funeral arrangements were entrusted to La Colombe Funeral Home, Tracadie-Sheila.
