Theresa MARTIN, of Montreal, formerly of Baie Ste. Anne, died following a water sports accident in Longueuil, Quebec on Wednesday, July 20, 1983. Born in Baie Ste. Anne 26 years ago, she was a daughter of Conrad and Dorina [CORMIER] MARTIN.<br /> Besides her parents, she is survived by eight sisters: Mrs. Diane CHALMESSIN, of Ottawa, Mrs. Hamid NASRALLAH [Aurellie], of Halifax, Mrs. Freddie MARTIN [Simonne], of Moncton, Mrs. Arthur GALLANT [Celine], of Moncton, Mrs. Daniel MARTIN [Bernadette], of Granby, Que., Evangeline MARTIN, of Moncton, Jeanne MARTIN, of St. Foye, Que. and Mrs. Valerie PELLERIN [Rose], of Baie Ste. Anne; three brothers: Roger, of Chatham, Marcel, of Montreal, and Etienne, of Baie Ste. Anne. <br /> One sister, Yolande MARTIN, died in 1977.<br /> The body rested at Maher?s Funeral Home, Chatham. Funeral mass was celebrated at Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church on Sunday afternoon, July 24 by Rev. Alphonse Richard.<br /> Pallbearers were: Ronald, Reginald, Moise and Magloire MARTIN, Louis SCHOFIELD and Claude LaPOINTE.<br /> Burial was in the church cemetery. Arrangements were in the care of Maher?s Funeral Home, Chatham.<br /> Source: Northumberland News - July 27, 1983
