The death of Rudolph [Papeau] MARTIN of the Villa Maria, St. Louis de Kent, NB, occurred on Wednesday, December 07, 2011, at the age of 74. Born in Baie Ste Anne, NB, Papeau was the son of the late Edouard and Emelda MARTIN. Papeau is a retired fisherman. <br /> Papeau is survived by five sisters: Martina RICHARD [Ernest], Eleanore SAVOIE [Alderic Jr.], Francine BLAKELY, Rejeane MARTIN [Zoel], of Baie Ste Anne, NB, and Ledwine THERIAULT [Jules], of Moncton, NB; two brothers, Edouard Jr. [Charlene] and Valerie [Bonnita], all of Baie Ste Anne, NB, and numerous nieces and nephews. <br /> Papeau is predeceased by one sister, Odette [Donald] McINTYRE; and two brothers, Jean Paul [Antoinette] and Zoel [Cathy], all of Baie Ste Anne, NB. <br /> Visitation was held at the Baie Ste Anne Slumber Room on Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Friday at 1 pm until time of the Mass. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, December 09, 2011 at 3 pm with Father Mario Doyle officiating. Reader: Norma GRAY [niece]; and Intentions by Gisele THERIAULT. Cross bearer: Sonia McINTYRE [niece]; and Flower Bearer: Julie ONEILL [niece].<br /> Active pallbearers: Dale and Noel MARTIN, Alain SAVOIE, Brent POIRIER, Ovil MAZEROLLE and yves THERIAULT. Honorary pallbearers were: Alfred, Eric, Antonio and Donald McINTYRE, Abel LIRETTE and Hubert MARTIN.<br /> Burial followed in Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Cemetery. A donation may be made to the NB Heart & Stroke foundation. Funeral arrangements were under the care of Bells Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB.
