Rose MARTIN, widow of William A. MARTIN, Baie Ste. Anne, was pronounced dead Thursday, August 6, 1981 at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Chatham. Born in Baie Ste. Anne, 87 years ago, she was a daughter of the late Manuel B and Anastasia [MANUEL] MARTIN. <br /> She is survived by one son, Louis, of Baie Ste. Anne; two daughters: Mrs. Joseph MANUEL [Leontine] and Mrs. Anastasia MORAIS, both of Baie Ste. Anne; one sister, Mrs. Joseph MAZEROLLE, of Mount St. Joseph, Chatham; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.<br /> The body rested at the slumber room of the Baie Ste. Anne RC Church where funeral mass was celebrated Sunday afternoon, August 9, by Rev. D. Gauthier.<br /> Honorary pallbearers were: Raymond MAZEROLLE, Arthur THERIAULT, Rudolph THERIAULT, Donat SAVOIE, Lomond GREGAN and Rudolph SAVOIE. Active pallbearers were: Claude MARTIN, Leopold MARTIN, Allison DAIGLE, Clarence MANUEL, Armand A. MARTIN, and Gary MAZEROLLE.<br /> Interment was in the parish cemetery.
