Patricia [Patsy] MARTIN, 60, of Baie Ste-Anne, passed away at her residence peacefully on Tuesday, September 13, 2005, after a short battle with cancer. Born in Baie Ste-Anne, on January 17, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Stanley MARTIN and Emma [LIRETTE] MARTIN. She was a custodian at the Baie School for 20 years. <br /> She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Egbert [Bert] MARTIN; and her four children: Lisa [Maurice] DAIGLE, Paula [Ligouri] TURBIDE, Ellis [Noella] and Michel [Muriel], all of Baie Ste-Anne; and her five grandchildren: Jonelle, Yves, Christine, Danielle, and Noah; sisters: Gertrude [Jim] CHIASSON, Jeanne D Arc, and Elva, of Baie Ste-Anne; her brothers, Emile [Mary] and Stan [Helene], of Nova Scotia, and Henri [Jocelyne], of Baie Ste-Anne; nieces and nephews.<br /> She was predeceased by her sister, Anne-Marie; and her brother, Reme. <br /> Visitation at the Bay Ste-Anne Slumberoom, on Thursday evening, from 7-9 and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 17, at 11 a.m. from the Ste-Anne Roman Catholic Church in Baie Ste-Anne, with Fr. Fidelle LeBlanc, celebrant. <br /> Active pallbearers were: Maurice DAIGLE, Ligouri TURBIDE, Denis MARTIN, Thomas MARTIN, Remi MARTIN and Kevin GOULDING. Honorary pallbearers were Bertin MARTIN, Valmond MARTIN, Michael MAZEROLLE, Hubert MAZEROLLE, Paul CATALINO and Valmont MARTIN. <br /> Honor guards were The Golden Age Club of Baie Ste-Anne, Retired Teachers and Staff of Ecole Regionale Baie Ste-Anne. Interment was in the church cemetery. Arrangements were under the care of Mahers Funeral Home, Miramichi, NB. Telephone 773-4321. <br /> Source: Miramichi Leader - September 23, 2005
