Marie Laurinda MARTIN passed away on Friday, December 11, 2009 at the age of 78. She was born in Baie St. Anne, daughter to Edouard and Roseanne [ROBICHAUD] MARTIN. <br /> Wife to Gerard MARTIN, of Escuminac, she leaves behind five children: Francois [Carole] MARTIN, of Moncton, Robert [Debbie] MARTIN, of Miramichi, Anne MARTIN, of Escuminac, Louise [Maurice] HENRI, of Moncton, Denise [Roland] GAUDET, of Dieppe; and sister, Therese [Yvon] DURELLE, of Moncton. Laurinda was a homemaker at her rustic Escuminac home that greeted her grandchildren: Andre, Steven, and chosen grandchildren, Matthew and Jordan; great-grandchildren: Kendra, Haylee, Avery and Marshall. <br /> She is predeceased by brothers: Clement [Stella], Aurele [Mary] Edgar [Marie Alma], Irene [Elmire]; and sister, Celine [Armand].<br /> Marie Laurinda MARTIN is resting at the Baie Ste Anne slumberoom on Wednesday, December 16th from 11 am till time of the funeral. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 16th at 2pm from St. Anne Church in Baie Ste Anne, NB. Donations to the Palliative care unit Region 7 Hospital Miramichi.
