Mrs. Marie C. MARTIN, 87, of Baie Ste-Anne, NB, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 1999 at Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home, Miramichi, NB. Born in Baie Ste-Anne, NB, she was the daughter of the late Joseph J. SIPPLEY and Barbara MARTIN. She was a homemaker, and attended St. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Baie Ste-Anne, NB.<br /> She is survived by her husband, Fred; daughter, Mrs. Orina BENNETT [Alderic], of Chatham; one brother, Edmond, of Baie Ste-Anne; one sister, Mrs. Florida DAIGLE [George], of Baie Ste-Anne; grandchildren: John [Wanda] and Roger [Sheryl], of Moncton.<br /> She is predeceased by one sister, Barbara; four brothers: Joseph, Alexander, Philias and Samuel.<br /> The remains rested at the church slumberoom on Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Baie Ste-Anne, NB on Friday, December 31, 1999 at 11 am. with Fr. Drisdelle officiating.<br /> Pallbearers were: Elphege and Arthur SIPPLEY, Kenneth McINTYRE, Alyre, Luke and Sandy MARTIN. Honorary pallbearers: Aubert and Jean RENE, Etienne and Mark MANUEL and Joel GAETAN.<br /> Interment was in the church cemetery.
