Mrs. Marguerite MARTIN, of Baie Ste. Anne, wife of the late David MARTIN, passed away at the age of 90. She was a daughter of the late Eutrope and Henriette [MANUEL] THIBODEAU.
She is survived by four sons: Sandy, Maurice and Reginald, all of Baie Ste. Anne, and Gerald, of St. Louis; six daughters: Mrs. Rolande [Rheal] DAIGLE, of Baie Ste. Anne, Mrs. Lorette [Fabien] MANUEL, of Baie Ste. Anne, Mrs. Ethel [Edouard] COMEAU, of St. Louis, Mrs. Claira [Adelard] MEUNIER, of Laketon, Mrs. Anna [David] BREAU, of Chatham, Mrs. Henriette [John] McLEAN, of Loggieville; three brothers, Lionel THIBODEAU, of Baie Ste. Anne, Roger THIBODEAU, of Rogersville, and Theothime THIBODEAU, of Montreal; one sister, Mrs. Matltide [Norman] MARTIN; 62 grandchildren; 70 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
The remains rested at the church slumber room in Baie Ste. Anne. Funeral Mass was held Thursday, at 4 p.m. at the Roman Catholic Church in Baie Ste. Anne, with Rev. Robert Savoy officiating.
Active pallbearers were: Edgar DAIGLE, Stephane MARTIN, Jean-Marc MARTIN, Aurelien ROBCHAUD, Robert McLEAN, and Eddie COMEAU. Honorary pallbearers were: Vincent THIBODEAU, Gilles MARTIN, Eric McINTYRE, Paul FLAHERTY, Douglas MEUNIER, and Edmond CARROLL.
Interment was in the church cemetery. Arrangements were under the care of Mahers Funeral Home, Chatham.
