The death of Marguerite MARTIN, wife of Edmund S. MARTIN, of Baie Ste. Anne, occurred at Hotel Dieu in Chatham Saturday, May 27 after a lengthy illness. Born in Baie Ste. Anne 68 years ago, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary [MANUEL] MARTIN.<br /> Surviving are her husband; three sons: Donald, of Bathurst, Edbert and Ronald, both of Baie Ste. Anne; four daughters: Mrs. Maurice DURELLE [Georgina], Mrs. Hermione MARTIN, Mrs. Dorcas MARTIN, and Mrs. Ferdinand GALLANT [Dorothy], all of Baie Ste. Anne; one sister, Mrs. Emery POIRIER, of Jacquet River; one brother, William MARTIN, of Baie Ste. Anne.<br /> The body rested at Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church with service held there Monday, May 29. Burial was in the church cemetery.<br /> Source: North Shore Leader - June 8, 1972
