Lorenza MARTIN [SIPPLEY], 82, of the Villa Maria Inc., St. Louis De Kent, formerly of Baie Ste-Anne, passed away peacefully on Friday January 14, 2011 at her residence. Born in Baie Ste-Anne on February 28, 1928 [Leap Year], the daughter of the late Rubin and Melina [MARTIN] SIPPLEY <br /> Lorenza is survived by her husband, Leonce MARTIN; children: Lomond MARTIN [Gisele], Deni MARTIN, Lucien MARTIN, Tim MARTIN [Blanche], Lynn JARDINE [Kenny], Lucie McINTYRE [Roger], Doretha MULLALY and Kenneth MARTIN [Janet]; fifteen grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren; sister, Lola; and brothers, Alderic and Anthony; and several nieces and nephews. <br /> She is predeceased by brother, Edwin; and sister, Pat.<br /> Lorenza MARTIN rested at the Baie Ste-Anne Slumberoom in Baie Ste-Anne on Monday January 17, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 and on Tuesday from 2pm till time of the funeral. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday January 18, 2011 at 4pm from St. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Baie Ste-Anne with Fr. J. B. Mallais officiating. <br /> Active pallbearers were: Lomond MARTIN, Kenneth MARTIN, Lucien MARTIN, Tim MARTIN, Keith McINTYRE and Chris JARDINE. Honorary pallbearers were: Antoine SIPPLEY, Roger McINTYRE, Marc SIPPLEY, Laurent MARTIN, Jack SIPPLEY and Ralph MacDONALD. <br /> Ministry of Music provided by St. Anne Church Choir. Interment will be in Church Cemetery in the Spring. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Mahers Funeral Home Miramichi. Telephone 773-4321.<br /> Source: Miramichi Leader - January 21, 2011
