Mr. Neree [Dou] MARTIN of Baie Ste-Anne, died suddenly at the age of 77 on Sunday, May 31 2009. Born in Baie Ste-Anne, the son late Edmond and Mina [McINTYRE] MARTIN, Neree had been retired for a number of years from the fishing industry as a fish buyer. <br /> He is survived by his wife, Regina MARTIN; his adoptive son, Edmond [Louise] MARTIN, from Dieppe; his brothers: Hilarion MARTIN [Ludivine], from Baie Ste-Anne, Blair [Carol] MARTIN, from Kingston N.S, Zoel [Diane] MARTIN, from Moncton; his sisters: Irene [Yvon] GINGRAS, from Moncton, Elva [Guy] SAVOIE, Lauretta [Elphege] SIPPLEY; and sisters-in-law: Hermine [late-Oran] MARTIN, all from Baie Ste-Anne, Beatrice [late-Edgar] McINTYRE, from St-Jean; brother-in-law, Keith [late-Clara] MOTT, from Loggieville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition, he leaves behind a friend of the family, Roger [Rodge] MARTIN. <br /> Visitations will be held at the Baie Ste-Anne Funeral Parlour starting Tuesday June 2, from 7 pm to 9 pm, Wednesday June 3, from 2 pm to 4 pm, 7 pm to 9 pm and Thursday, June 4 from 2 pm until departure for the funeral. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday June 4th at 4 pm at the St. Anne Church in Baie Ste-Anne. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Mahers Funeral Home Miramichi, NB.
