The death of Jean [Jack] MARTIN, of 93 Douglas Ave., Saint John, N.B., husband of the late Ella [CUNNINGHAM] MARTIN, occurred at St. Josephs Hospital May 10, 1985. Born in Escuminac, he was a son of the late Joseph and Marguerite [McINTYRE] MARTIN and had lived the greater part of his life in Saint John. He was a veteran of the Second World War and was a member of Orange Lodge and of St. Matthews Presbyterian Church.<br /> He is survived by one son, Ken MARTIN, of Dalhousie; one step-son, Ron RANKIN ,of Saint John; two daughters, Mrs. Earl KADDY [Mary], of Gagetown, and Mrs. Victor COMEAU [Linda], of Saint John; three step-daughters, Mrs. William PORTER [Marjorie], of Saint John, Mrs. Sherman ST. GERMAIN [Helen], of Sussex, and Mrs. Bertrum SMITH [Grace], of Woodstock; five brothers: Alexander, Joseph, Benjamin, Clarence and Elmer; 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.<br /> The body rested at Brenans Funeral Home, Saint John. The funeral was held from Brenans Chapel. Interment was in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.<br /> Source: Northumberland News - May 22, 1985
