Mrs. Imelda MARTIN, of Baie Ste. Anne, widow of Edward MARTIN, died Tuesday August 10, 1982 at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Chatham following a lengthy illness. Born in Baie Ste. Anne 63 years ago, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary [MARTIN] MARTIN.<br /> She is survived by five sons: Rudolph, Valeri, John Paul and Edward, all of Baie Ste. Anne, Zoel, of Black River; six daughters: Mrs. Donald McINTYRE [Odette], Mrs. Alphonse DOUCET [Martina], Mrs. Alderic SAVOIE [Eleanor], Mrs. Francine THERIAULT and Mrs. ZOEL MARTIN [Rejeanne], all of Baie Ste. Anne, and Mrs. Jules THERIAULT [Ledwine], of Moncton; three brothers: Wilfred, Alcime and Adolph, all of Baie Ste. Anne; 23 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.<br /> The body rested at Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church where funeral mass was celebrated on Thursday afternoon, August12 by Rev. D. Gauthier.<br /> Honorary pallbearers were: Dominic MARTIN, Marc McINTYRE, Lucien MARTIN, John McINTYRE Jr., Lucien C. MARTIN, Erene MARTIN. Active pallbearers were: Alderic SAVOIE, Zoel MARTIN, Jules THERIAULT, Eric McINTYRE, Alphonse DOUCET and Ricky McINTYRE.<br /> Interment was in the church cemetery. Arrangements were in the care of Mahers Funeral Home, Chatham.<br /> Source: Northumberland News - August 18, 1982
