Mrs. Francoise MARTIN, of Baie Ste. Anne, widow of Emery MARTIN, died Wednesday morning, November 3, 1982 at the Saint John Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born at Baie Ste. Anne 69 years ago, she was a daughter of the late Meleme and Susan [DOUCETTE] RUSSELL.<br /> She is survived by three sons: Emile, Vincent and Henry MARTIN, all of Baie Ste. Anne; five daughters: Mrs. Benoit MANUEL [Amanda], Mrs. Isidore MARTIN [Germaine] and Mrs. Gordon McINTYRE [Cecile], all of Baie Ste. Anne, Mrs. Noel LAVIGNE [Althea] and Mrs. Vitaline MANUEL, both of Chatham; a brother, Frank RUSSELL, of Escuminac; and two sisters: Mrs. Margaret RICHARDSON, of Mount St. Joseph, and Mrs. Henry MARTIN [Phoebe], of Baie Ste. Anne.<br /> The body rested at the Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church where mass was celebrated on Saturday morning, Nov. 6 by Rev. D. Gauthier.<br /> Honorary pallbearers were: Luc, Marc, Jean-Paul, Frankie, Antoine and Virgine MARTIN. Active Pallbearers were: Isadore MARTIN Jr., Johnny MARTIN, Emeril MANUEL, Antonio MANUEL, Marcel ROBICHAUD and Patrick LEVINE.<br /> Interment was in the parish cemetery. Arrangements were in the care of Mahers Funeral Home, Chatham.<br /> Source: Northumberland News - November 17, 1982
