Alice Jane, born 15 February 1885, Whitney, died 25 January 1973, San Diego, CA, USA. Alice had two children out of wedlock before she moved to the USA and there married Chester Reid after 1906 and had one son. Alice is buried in St. Philip’s United Cemetery, Whitney, NB.
John J, born 30 January 1887, Whitney, died 7 February 1967, Matthews Settlement, NB, and buried St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Cemetery, Boom Road, NB.
Mary Elizabeth, born 14 October 1888, Whitney died 8 December 1957. She married Ernest Newton Tozer on 4 April 1906, Derby Methodist Parsonage, South Esk, NB. He was born 20 June 1879, Ellenstown, NB and died 13 March 1960, Red Bank, NB. Mary and Ernest are buried at Derby United Cemetery, Millerton, NB. They had four children of their own and raised Mary Elizabeth’s niece (daughter of sister Alice Jane).
Annie Abigail, born 4 April 1890, South Esk died after 1964. She married Addison Douglas. He was born in Charlottetown, PEI where they resided.
William Layton, born 20 July 1892, Whitney, died 5 June 1916, Belgium, and buried in Menin Gate (Ypres) Memorial Cemetery, Belgium. He served in WWI with the 1st Canadian Mounted Rifles.
Mabel Blanche, born 24 December 1892, Whitney, died 2 November 1964, Tanningsville, ON. She married Thomas Hill on 2 September 1914 in Red Bank. He was born 28 April 1889, Cassilis, died 27 December 1980, Thunder Bay, ON. Thomas was Miramichi Police Chief in 1933, but after the family moved to Thunder Bay, ON area he worked in the woods. They had seven children.
Robert William, born 11 August 1895, Whitney, died after 1964 most likely in NY, USA. He married Clara McAllister after 1937. She was born about 1876 in Red Bank area and died in New York, USA.
