He married Ann Harrigan, daughter of John Harrigan / Horgan, in Ireland. She was born about 1792 in County Cork, Ireland and died in 1880 in Oshkosh, WI, USA. William and Ann came to the Williamstown, NB area in 1830 with eight of their children. They moved to Oshkosh, WI with a number of their children and relatives in 1857. They had at least ten children, though only two are listed below.

Patrick, born c 1809, Parish Schull, County Cork, Ireland , died 2 November 1893 married Catherine Driscoll<br /> <br /> William, born c1811, Parish Schull, County Cork, Ireland, died 18 Sept. 1898 probably Millerton, NB. He married Isabella Scott on 1 May 1834 in the Presbyterian Church, North Esk, NB. She was born about 1798 in Duffes, Morayshire, Scotland and died 24 January 1879, Millerton, NB. William was a Constable and a Tax Collector in Derby Parish. The family lived at Williamstown until about 1853 when they moved to Millerton, NB. William is buried in St. Thomas RC Cemetery, Red Bank, NB. They had four children.<br /> <br /> John, born c 1819, Parish of Schull, County Cork, Ireland and died between 1851 and 1861 in Williamstown area. He married Julia Goggin on 15 November 1847 in No Co. She died between 1851 and 1861 in Williamstown area. They had two children.<br /> <br /> James, born c1821, Parish of Schull, County Cork, Ireland died 7 February 1910 Tomahawk, WI married Mary Ann Gahagan. James and his wife were buried in Oshkosh.<br /> <br /> Maurice, born c 1824, Parish of Schull, County Cork, Ireland died 29 September 1884 married Johanna Cassin. Maurice was successful in farming in Wisconsin.<br /> <br /> Mary, born 1 January 1825, Parish of Schull, County Cork, Ireland died 17 August 1926 married James Blake in 1846 in Northumberland County. They also moved to the US about 1851. Mary lived to be 101 years of age.<br /> <br /> Michael, born c 1826 Parish of Schull, County Cork, Ireland died 4 April 1927 married Ellen Derby. Michael moved to Maine and on to Wisconsin where he too lived to be over 100 years of age. Michael and Ellen had a large family.<br /> <br /> Daniel, born c 1829 Parish of Schull, County Cork, Ireland killed in a railroad accident in Oshkosh on 27 October 1888. He married Elizabeth Casey and they also moved to the US.<br /> <br /> Catherine born 28 March 1832 died 29 March 1923 married Patrick McPartlin<br /> <br /> Anne E. born 20 May 1835 died 26 May 1918 Minneapolis, MN married Joseph Farrell in Northumberland County.<br /> <br /> Date of Arrival: 1830 from Parish of Schull, County Cork, Ireland.
