1840-1910<br /> DUTHIE, Stephen “Etienne” the son of Andre “Andrew” & Ann (Kelly) Duthie was born January 1, 1840 in Quebec and died March 26, 1910 in McKinleyville, N.B. He was a grandson of the first English family to settle in New Richmond area.<br /> <br /> Stephen married Bridget Walsh, the daughter of John & Mary (O’Brien) Walsh on June 18, 1872. Their attendants were Edward Murphy and Ellen Walsh. Bridget was born in June 1845 and passed away on October 16, 1885. After her death, he married Catherine Delaney on June 6,1887. She was born in 1845 and died February 6, 1916. The Duthies farmed, operated the Duthie Hotel (around 1876) and the local Post Office (1909-1911). They are interred at St Edward’s Catholic Cemetery, Chelmsford.

Second marriage with Margaret E. Smith (1903-1973) of Center Napan and they had nine children.<br /> <br /> George Nicholas born November 8, 1881, McKinleyville, NB died November 10, 1951, San Jose, CA, USA. Single.<br /> <br /> Sarah born December 27, 1885- u/k (adopted child)<br /> <br /> Stephen and Catherine<br /> Bridget Ann born May 27,1888, McKinleyville, NB; died u/k<br /> <br /> Date of Arrival: between 1861-1871 from Bonaventure County, Quebec
