1791-1843<br /> DONNELLY, ALEXANDER: born in 1791 in Antrium, Ireland. Alexander and his wife Sarah Bruce, who was born in 1799 in Ireland, came to Blackville, Northumberland Co, NB with their three small children.<br /> <br /> In 1823 Alexander petitioned for a land grant for two lots in Blackville. There he became a farmer. Alexander died in July 1843 in Blackville.

She was born in 1822 in Newcastle, NB.<br /> <br /> James, born 25 February 1825 in Blackville, NB. He died about 1900 in Blackville, NB. He married Ruth Earl Turner, daughter of James Turner and Margaret Anderson, on 16 May 1871 in Blackville, NB. She was born 27 July 1846 and died 18 March 1929.<br /> <br /> James was a farmer and a lumberman. They had nine children. John, born about 1827 in Blackville, NB and died 28 April 1901 of consumption in Stanley, York Co, NB. He married Mary Emma Harris in 1859. She as born in 1840 in Blackville, NB. John was a farmer.<br /> <br /> They had eleven children. Grace, born in 1834 in Blackville, NB, died 16 January 1867 in Presque Isle, ME, USA and is buried there. She married Stephen Sutter, son of Byron Sutter and Elspit Bruce, on 12 April 1851 in Presque Isle, ME, USA.<br /> <br /> Stephen was born in 1827 in Ludlow, NO Co, NB and died 13 June 1898 in Presque Isle, ME, USA. They had seven children. Mary married Robert Porter. Sarah – nothing known.<br /> <br /> Date of Arrival: From Styles, County Antrium, Ireland before 1823.
