DONALDSON, JOHN THOMAS: was born 25 September 1812 in Halifax, NS and died 29 March 1857 in Blissfield, NB. He married Susannah Bamford, widow of John Mooers, Jr. on 21 November 1849 in Blissfield, NB. The daughter of John Bamford and Susan Munro, she was born 28 September 1825 in Blissfield and died 4 December 1872 in Blissfield. John was a farmer and lumberman.

John Thomas, born 23 May 1851, Blissfield, NB and died 15 March 1940 in Seattle, WA USA. John Thomas, Jr. left NB for Stillwater, MN in the late 1870’s. He worked in lumber camps and there he met Ida Isabelle Bryenton, daughter of George Bryenton and Mary McIntosh, from Derby, NB. He married Ida on 26 September 1888 in Stillwater, MN. She was born about 1867 in Derby, NB and died 23 March 1944 in Seattle, WA, USA.
A few years after their marriage they moved west to Everett, WA. By 1906 they were living in Seattle, where Tom was a paving contractor. He also prepared ground for the AVP Exposition on the University of Washington, Seattle. Some of the streets in the University bear his name. Tom and Ida are buried in Washelle Columbarium, Seattle, WA. They had three children.
James Allen, born 6 November 1855, Blissfield, NB, died 30 April 1938. He married 1st Lottie Hazel Hammond on 6 January 1884 in Lowell, MA, USA. She was born 13 April 1858, Andover, NB and died 8 December 1911.
They had three daughters. He married 2nd Mary Brown Skinner on 24 October 1914, Minneapolis, MN. She died 4 March 1958 in Hennepin Co, MN, USA. James and Lottie are buried in Hillside Cemetery, Minneapolis. Mary Brown Skinner is buried in Mount Vernon, SD, USA.
