c1789-1894<br /> DENNIS, JAMES; was born circa 1789 in Bantry Bay, County Cork, Ireland and died 27 February 1894 in Point Pleasant (North West Bridge), NB, at the advanced age of 105. His obituary stated he was an obliging neighbour and “He was in every sense of the word, a whole hearted Irishman”. He married Ellen u/k in Ireland. She was born circa 1793 in Bantry Bay, County Cork, Ireland, and died 12 December 1899 in Point Pleasant, NB. Both James and Ellen are buried at St. Mary’s RC Cemetery, Newcastle.

Julia, born about 1842, Point Pleasant, NB and died November 13, 1880 in Point Pleasant, NB. She married James Barry on April 27, 1858 in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Nelson, NB. He was born October 15, 1838 in Bantry Bay, County Cork, Ireland and died February 10, 1908 in North West Bridge, NB. Julia and James made their home in North West Bridge, where they raised their 8 children.<br /> <br /> John; no documentation has been found that John is a member of this family, but he and his mother were sponsors at the baptism for John Allen Barry.<br /> <br /> Catherine; haven’t been able to document if Catherine is a daughter in this family, but she was a sponsor at the baptism for James Barry.<br /> <br /> Date of Arrival: circa 1827 from Ireland to North West Bridge, NB.<br />
