He married (1) Mary (McCarthy?) who died before 1820, and (2) on July 31, 1820 Margaret Lawler, born in 1793 in Ireland. She was the daughter of James Lallor/Lawler and Elizabeth Whelan. On November 18, 1827 Margaret married a second time to Thomas Power (c1784-1871). <br /> <br /> Date of Arrival: from Dublin, Ireland before 1804.<br /> <br />

The 1851 census shows the couple with four children.<br /> <br /> (2) John Born c1791; died before 1861. He married Judith Conolly on July 21, 1831. They had at least one child. They lived in Nelson Parish.<br /> <br /> (3) Elizabeth Born 1796. She married John Dunn.<br /> <br /> (4) Ann Died before 1851. She married Thomas Clancy* on January 8, 1816 and raised seven children. Tom was born c1791 in Ireland and died after 1871 in Derby Parish. They were Roman Catholic.<br /> <br /> (5) Marguerite Born November 5, 1807.<br /> <br /> (6) Genevieve Baptised July 16, 1813.<br /> <br /> (7) David Baptised July 18, 1813.<br /> <br /> Children of John Power and Margaret Lawler:<br /> <br /> (8) Elizabeth Born April 16, 1824, Nelson. She married Thomas Wallace on September 8, 1845 and died June 13, 1873 in Orono, Maine.<br /> <br /> (9) Michael Baptised July 4, 1825; died March 5, 1876. He married Margaret _______ and died in Alton, Minnesota.<br /> <br /> *See Thomas Clancy family <br /> <br /> Note: W.D.
