Discription of the issues related to this individual
(1) James Born February 6, 1836, Cains River, Northumberland County. A farmer, he married Emmeline Joyce Adeline Weaver on February 15, 1863 at Trinity Anglican Church, Blackville, N. B. She was born c1850 and died on July 12, 1921 in Blackville. James and Emmeline had ten children.
(2) Andrew Born April 15, 1837; died June 29, 1919 at the Forks. Andrew was a woods worker. In 1881 he was living with his mother and his sister Elizabeth. In 1891 he was living with James and his family.
(3) John Born March 26, 1839; died c1879.
(4) Sarah Born c1843; died on May 20, 1901 in Blackville, N.B. She married John Sturgeon on January 12, 1869. John, born c1839 to James Sturgeon and Catherine Walker, died in 1884. They farmed and raised nine children. Sarah was buried at St. Andrew’s United Church Cemetery, Blackville.
(5) Thomas Born 1844; died January 14, 1874; buried in Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Blackville. He had been living in Newcastle in 1871.
(6) David Born 1847. He was a farmer who was living in 1871.
(7) William Born 1849; died August 6, 1896. He married Margaret Elizabeth Smith on March 5, 1877 at Trinity Anglican Church, Blackville, N B. Born c1857, Margaret was the daughter of James Smith and Susan Ann Anderson of Blackville. William was a farmer. They are not found in the census after 1881 in which three sons were recorded.
(8) Margaret Born October 9, 1852. She married John Ernest Sullivan on July 15, 1873. John was born January 4, 1843/4 to John Michael Sullivan and Barbara Ann Peters of Grey Rapids, Northumberland County. Margaret and John E. had nine children. They are not found in the 1911 census for N.B. John was a farmer. He died on April 10, 1921.
(9) Robert Born 1853. Robert was a farmer. He was not in the census after 1871.
(10) Essabiah/Elizabeth/Isibia Born June 18, 1857. In 1881 she was living with her mother and her brother Andrew. She was not in the 1891 census.
