They might have been buried at St. Stephen’s (Old) Cemetery in Red Bank, but this cannot be confirmed as the church records were destroyed by fire.

(1) John Born before 1822 in Sunny Corner; died after May 7, 1881 in Curventon. John was a farmer. He married Louisa Esty on September 29, 1845 in Newcastle. Louisa was born on March 17, 1829 in Sevogle and died April 23, 1918 in Curventon. Louisa was the daughter of James Esty and Margaret Walsh. John and Louisa had fifteen children. They might have been buried at St. Thomas R.C. Cemetery, Red Bank.
(2) William Born 1823 in Sunny Corner; died January 25, 1908 in Sunny Corner. William married (1) Margaret Keating on January 10, 1845 in Northumberland County, NB. Margaret was born on P.E.I. in 1824 and died in 1862 in Sunny Corner. William and Margaret had eleven children. He married (2) Mary Jane Allison on April 24, 1866 in Northumberland County, NB. They did not have children. Mary Jane was born on December 20, 1871 in County Londonderry, Ireland and died on April 14, 1908 in Sunny Corner. Mary “Jane” was the daughter of William Allison and Eliza Smythe of Ireland. She had three children before her marriage to William. It is not known where William, Margaret and Mary Jane were buried.
(3) Elizabeth Ann Born July 29, c1825 in Sunny Corner; died July 17, 1898 in Sunny Corner. Elizabeth Ann married William John Burns on January 31, 1843 in St. Patrick’s R.C. Church, Nelson, N.B. William was born in 1809 County Down, Ireland and died April 22, 1884 in Sunny Corner. William and Elizabeth had thirteen children. William and Elizabeth were buried at St Thomas R.C. Cemetery, Red Bank.
(4) James Born c1829 in Sunny Corner; died 1860 in Sunny Corner. In 1851 James married Barbara McKay at Red Bank. Barbara was the daughter of Hugh McKay and Elizabeth Beckwith. Barbara was born c1832 in Whitney and died on March 13, 1906 in Red Bank. James and Barbara had six children. After James’s death, Barbara married James Taylor, born c1844, and had two or three children. It is not known where James and Barbara were buried.
(5) Mary Born July 38, 1830 in Sunny Corner; died September 15, 1913 at Sunny Corner. Mary married John Nowlan on June 29, 1851 at Sunny Corner. John was born on P.E.I. on October 1, 1827 and died in June 1904 in Sunny Corner. John and Mary had ten children. John was buried at St. Thomas R.C. Cemetery in Red Bank while Mary was buried at St. Stephen’s (Old) Cemetery in Red Bank.
(6) Jane(t) Born between 1831 and 1834 Sunny Corner; died February 20, 1899 at Sunny Corner. Jane(t) married William McAllister, a widower with one daughter, on October 5 1858 at St. Stephen’s Church, Red Bank. William was the son of James McAllister and Mary Irvine of Halcomb. William was born October 4, 1827 Newcastle and died on September 23, 1915 Sunny Corner. William and Jane had ten children. They were buried at St. Stephen’s (Old) Cemetery, Red Bank.
(7) Andrew Born August 1, 1832 at Sunny Corner; died March 31, 1898 at Sunny Corner. Andrew married (1) Abigail Mullin on September 13, 1855 in Northumberland County. Abigail was born 1832 at Red Bank and died c1878 in Sunny Corner. Abigail was the daughter of Thomas Mullin and Ann Fraser of Red Bank. Abigail and Andrew had eleven children. On March 15, 1878 Andrew married
(2) Clementine “Clara” McKendrick. Clara was the daughter of Louisa McKendrick. She was born about 1854 in Red Bank and died before 1881 in Sunny Corner. Andrew and Clara had one daughter. On February 2, 1881 at Sunny Corner Andrew married Clara’s half-sister (3) Mary Amelia Morrison. Mary was born on April 6, 1862 in Newcastle and died on January 2, 1893 in Sunny Corner. Mary was the daughter of John Morrison and Louisa McKendrick. Andrew and Mary had nine children. On September 5, 1894 at St Stephen’s Presbyterian Manse in Red Bank Andrew married (4) Margaret Cameron. Margaret was born on January 24, 1855 at Black River and died January 31, 1910 in Chatham. She was the daughter of Donald Cameron and Margery McLeod. Andrew and Margaret had one daughter. A tombstone was located at St. Stephen’s (Old) Cemetery, Red Bank for his first wife, but not for the others. Andrew Matchett was the most prosperous of William's sons, and after four marriages he left fifteen adult children behind and a prodigious number of the twentieth century descendants in North Esk and elsewhere. After Andrew’s death, Margaret remarried in 1901 to Robert Taylor, a widower of 68.
(8) George Henry Born 1837 in Sunny Corner; died 1880 in Sunny Corner. On April 6, 1859 at St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church, Red Bank, George married Isabella Johnston. Isabella was born July 11, 1837 in Halcomb and died on December 8, 1925 in Sunny Corner. Belle was the daughter of Thomas Johnston and Catherine Hall of Halcomb. George and Isabella lived in Sunny Corner and had seven children. George was probably buried in the St. Stephen’s (Old) Cemetery, Red Bank whereas Isabella was buried in St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church, Boom Road.
