(1) Francis Halliday Born January 25, 1801 in Ecclefechan, Scotland; died August 20, 1855 in Burnt Church. He married Jean Jardine, daughter of Joseph Jardine and Janet Kerr of Scotland, on July 6, 1827. Jean was born April 3, 1810 in Ecclefechan. They had fourteen children and were buried in Union Cemetery, Burnt Church, N.B.
(2) Samuel Born September 3, 1803 in Ecclefechan, Scotland; died December 22, 1876 in Salem, Ohio. On June 10, 1825 he married Elizabeth Jardine*, sister of Jean above, born 1806 in Ecclefechan. They moved to Meggs Co., Ohio, USA. They are buried in Ohio, USA. They had eleven children.
(3) William Born 1804 in Ecclefechan, Scotland; died December 31, 1865 in Napan. On July 11, 1834 he married Annie MacDonald, daughter of Alexander MacDonald** and Grace McAskill (relative of Nova Scotia’s giant Angus McAskill). They had ten children. They were buried in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Black River, N.B.
(4) Elizabeth Born 1806 in Ecclefechan, Scotland; died June 5, 1890 in Napan. On July 5, 1825 she married William Coltart, born May 1794, Dumfriesshire, Scotland. They had 10 children. They were buried in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Black River, N.B.
(5) Jane/Jean Born 1809 Ecclefechan; died October 14, 1898 in Little Branch, N.B. On August 13, 1828 she married George Fowlie. He was born September 5, 1793 in Aberdeenshire, Scotland and died December 2, 1843. They raised nine children in Little Branch and were buried in St. Stephen’s Community Cemetery, Black River.
(6) James Born 1810 Ecclefechan; died June 5, 1880 in Napan. On June 1, 1831 he married Mary Dobie. Mary was born in 1810 in Scotland and died May 15, 1878. They had ten children. They were buried in St. John’s Presbyterian Cemetery, Chatham, N.B.
