(1) Alexander Born December 1, 1773 Bawds, Scotland; died March 28, 1852 in Burnt Church. He married Helen “Ellen” Murray, born c1778, the daughter of John Murray of Summerville, P.E.I. Alexander and Helen had thirteen children prior to Helen’s death on June 9, 1852. Alexander and Helen were buried in First Burnt Church Cemetery, Burnt Church.<br /> <br /> (2) Margaret Born October 12, 1775 in Scotland. On September 27, 1792 she married John Davidson, born c1763 to Alexander Davidson and Helen Robertson. They had ten children. Both John and Margaret died before 1851.<br /> <br /> (3) William Born January 24, 1775 in Bawds, Scotland. He married Jane Urquhart, born 1780 in Warren, Maine. They had nine children. His headstone at the First Burnt Church Cemetery indicates he died November 16, 1844 at the age of 65 in Burnt Church and had been a native of Murrayshire [now Morayshire], Scotland. Also recorded is Janet’s death date of August 13, 1865 at the age of 84 at Burnt Church.<br /> <br /> (4) Peter Born in April 19, 1780 in Scotland; died March 31, 1858 at Black Brook. He married Margaret Gordon (1783-September 1, 1872), daughter of James Gordon. They had twelve children.<br /> <br /> (5) John Born c1783; died May 29, 1867. He married Margaret Morrison and had six children. Margaret died before the 1851 census. John was a farmer. <br /> <br /> (6) Robert Born 1790; died October 19, 1871 in Napan. On December 30, 1841 he married Janet McAllister, born 1821. They had five children. Janet died in August 31, 1888. <br /> <br /> (7) George Born 1793; died 1864 in Napan. He never married. In the 1861 census he was living with his brother Robert and family and working as a farmer. He was identified as “deaf and dumb”.<br /> <br /> (8) Janet Born after 1796; died at Napan c1812. She was unmarried. <br /> <br /> <br /> Note: Donald Whyte identifies Robert Loggie’s birth place as Redhall, Speymouth, Morayshire. Speymouth and Urquhart are adjacent parishes in Morayshire (formerly called Murrayshire).
